Quickly..... as there are a line of four peple sitting here waiting to use the one computer that is working here at the Kibbutz in Ein Gev (their wireless is not working at this time).
As mentionened, we are right on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It is a breathtaking view, as there are small little towns with orange glowing lights dotting the shorleine up and down the lakeside. It is really something to sit and look out over the water and think of Jesus sailing on that same surface a while back, and all of the other things that went on here. Nice history, don't you think?
(OK, the line of people on chairs near me is starting to give me harsh stares. "When is this guy going to finish!" I can see it in their eyes.)
We have nice little apartment/condo cabins on the "Sea/lake" here. Tomorrow, it is just up the road to Bethsaida, Capernaum, and other places on the lake where Jesus spent 90% of his time. This was the area he called "home" as an adult, and where most of the gospel material happenned. So again, for illsutrative purposed, picture kind of starting out in Minnetonka on the shores of the lake, driving up to Mound, heading a bit over to Wayzata, then over to....what is over on the West side of Minnetonka? St. Bonifacius? Well, whatever, all rather close. It should be a good Satruday.
I took 95 pictures today, and right now can't put them any of them on this computer.....but will see what I can do tomorrow. Patience. The blog will stay vital and informative!
I did happen to see it was kind of chilly there the last few days. I periodically check out the StarTrib website, and it always seems to be cold....though often that is earlier in the morning your time. It has been very June-like here, and today I actually got....yep......sunburned. No hat. Silly man. Oh well. The perils of January, hmmmm. (Don;'t get mad and quit reading now, OK?)
I'll write again soon. A minor revolt could break out here any moment. That would be inapproriate in a place like this. Totally.
