Their backyard at Capernaum. Peter and Jesus.
I thought you might find it interesting to see the “backyard” of the house. This is less than a few hundred feet from the house, straight down to the water, and what would have been the view out their “backdoor”. Maybe where the boats would pull in on most given nights if they were coming home via the water. (The pictures provide a panorama, moving from right to left as you look south into the Sea of Galilee, from west to east.)

I went down and stood on what would have been their “beach”. For me, this was an incredible highlight of the trip so far. Saturday midday, hanging out at Peter (and Jesus’) lake home.
