Shabot Shalom!

Finished the day with a trip to a synagogue for a service from 5:00-6:30. Lovely singing, with a little more of a modern, progressive congregation. Lovely music, all in Hebrew. A quiet and peaceful way to end a hectic day, and welcome the Sabbath.

Shabot Shalom!

Tomorrow - Saturday. Early in the morning off to Bethlehem, then touring the Israel Museum, then a stop at Ein Karem, a Jeruslaem "suburb" a few miles west where Mary went to visit and stay with Elizabeth, then back to Old City Jersualem for mass at 6:00pm in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (built right on top of the old hill of Calvary, also known as Golgotha), and then after a late dinner, a "lecture night" on some topic that I can't even begin to remember.

Busy, busy, busy. Fun, fun, fun. (Except for the baton in the back deal, a few blogs back.)

P.S. Ankle is feeling much better!
