It is Good to Be King

Way up on top of a high hill, there is a site that was the former Old Testmanet city of Dan. (Read the Book of Judges or Samuel if you have an interest.) Just inside the gate, they have uncovered the "elders' bench", where the leaders of the community would sit and judge civic cases. Next to that bench, was the king's throne.

Check out where the King is standing. He may have left the building thousands of years ago, but this afternoon, there was a new King in town. For a few moments at least.

I made a few decrees, then headed out. It was good to be King.
