A sweet weekend treat: great desert vistas all Sunday afternoon as we trek south through Israel. Blink, and you'd think for sure you are driving through Utah or Arizona.
The top photo and the one immediately below show beautful canyons in the Negev Desert of Israel. The final three photos I took from the Western side of the Dead Sea, in Israel, looking toward the East. The mountains you see are in the country of Jordan.
