Had dinner in the dining room with a group of students from Lee University, a college in Tennessee. (Let's Go FLAMES!!) They are here on a January study tour. Their professor had arranged a lecture in the evening with the General Secretary of the Mideast Council of Churches to talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and he invited me to join them in one of the hospice meeting rooms from 7:30-10:00pm.
It was a great talk, very insightful and informative, and the students were very impressive. I stayed and hung out with them for a little while afterwards to shoot the breeze before bedtime.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening!
