Suddenly, a noise. From the side of the ruins, almost without warning -- a "sheep stampede"!
Sheep running, following each other down a gently sloping hill, two dogs running alongside and behind them keeping them in line. A shepherd taking up the rear. He had on jeans, a NASCAR-type jacket, and a baseball cap. Geeeez, just kind of shatters your vision of things. BUT......he did have a long "staff"-like object. So, he didn't totally destroy the image.
They stopped for a moment and nibbled in a grassy area, and then the shepherd headed down a hill, calling something to them in Arabic as he headed off. Like obedient puppies, they all looked up and took off after the sound of his voice as a group.
A person could really come up with a good analogy or parable out of that. Maybe....something having to do with.....hmmm...... Wool? NASCAR? Well, something maybe.
